In case anyone was wondering, our issue was resolved last week by Rita Fregola. It seems that our 'invoice loading area was locked'. Not something we've experienced before.
Regards,
Karen

Hi Karen,

Sounds very much like the problem we opened a ticket with Innovative for yesterday. Rita Fregola looking into it. The note on our view of the problem from our service desk log copied below,

John

Dear Laura,

thanks for your service request. I'm looking into it now and I'll get back to you as soon as I complete the initial troubleshooting steps.

Kind regards,

This sounds a bit like the problem Lesley had transferring invoices last year (March 2017). There is a folder /iiidb/data/acct0/approvals on the Sierra Application server. It has two files dated 9:55 today relating to transfer of invoices:

-rw-rw---- 1 iii 59 Jul 10 09:55 faxarea.info
-rw-rw---- 1 iii 1836 Jul 10 09:55 faxarea

The faxarea.info file contains the message "invoices-awaiting-acceptance file is being used, try later" which sounds significant. This is something for Innovative to resolve. It might be a problem at ftp.libnet.fi . In Lesley's video, the size of each invoice before transfer shows as "-1" , which does not seem normal.

Edit Event	10/07/2018 11:40:05	LMcCaughan Hi,

Has there been any changes that would affect the FTP process as there seems to be a problem loading ftp invoices via Sierra. We have tired loading invoices both new and old (to re-test those that previously worked) and no files are imported. We have logged out of Sierra and in again. We have included the link to a video of the process. As you can see there are no invoices imported as all lines are 0.

We have a number of invoices waiting to load but may have to add these manually as everything needs to be processed as soon as possible, can you please investigate this matter.

Subject: Importing LM serials invoices to Sierra

Anyone importing serials invoices from LM into Sierra? We've been doing so happily for several months but last week it stopped working. From the Import Invoices function, we can connect to the LM server and view the invoice files, select one to import, and Sierra tells us the file imported. But nothing in the Accept/Reject tab.

LM have been very helpful in supplying different format invoice files to test (although they hadn't changed the format). And we can pull the files across via Data Exchange - all looks fine, definitely in Serials format. I have a call in with Innovative but if anyone has experience of this or any suggestions, please say!

Regards,
Karen
