Hi Zoe,
The default method is pow3, the usage text will be updated to reflect this in the next release.

Kind Regards

Hi officer,

What is the default non-linearity method for melodic inside FSL? The result I got from choosing the non-linearity method to tanh and gauss are quite different from the result of running with the default non-linearity method. The number of components are different by searching for convergence after 500 steps, and for each components, the image of the result are different as well.

Is the default non-linearity method for melodic is pow3? Or pow4?

Why do you choose pow3 as the default method?

Thank you!

Zoe
