Hi Paul,

Thanks for your response!
When we run registration as part of ICA, isn't it supposed to transform the components to the structural space that I specified.

Thanks,
Sara

Hi Sara,

My guess is that your melodic_IC file is in functional space, and you are overlaying it on the structural image, which is in structural space. If you want to overlay the component image on the structural image, you will need to transform it into structural space. You can use the ApplyXfm gui to do this.

Cheers,

Paul

Hi FSL team,

In my ICA analysis, I register two sessions resting state data to one structural data from on the sessions. I used one structural data because of the quality of the scans. I pick the best among the two.
I noticed that when the structural is from another session of the same participant, registration still looks fine; however, when I overlay ICA components to structural image that I used, components are way off.
Hope that makes sense.

I was wondering if it is not okay for me to use the same structural scan for two sessions of rs-MRI.
I am not sure if I have to redo everything or it should be fine in the later stages.

Thanks,
Sara
