Although my computer cluster is pretty fancy, it has a 48hr wall clock for any single slurm job. Since PALM does not yet have parallelization capabilities (right?) my cluster gurus are curious if the palm code has a checkpoint mechanism to dump the current state of the calculation into memory before hitting the wall clock, thereby making it possible to pickup the calculations where they left off (enabling completion of hefty PALM analyses with a series of 48hr slurm jobs).
Any thoughts?
Many Thanks,
Jenifer
