Wrexham Glyndwr University, School of Social and Life Sciences, in North East Wales are looking to appoint an External Examiner for their Diploma in Counselling programme. We also have a collaborative partner in Telford who intend to start delivering the programme of study in September 2018 and the successful candidate will be responsible for the external moderation from both sources. We currently have September re-sits that will need moderation, the applicant will therefore need to be available in mid-August to manage a small number of submissions. Applicants should have subject expertise in delivering Person Centred Counselling Programmes, and preferably external examiner experience. The candidate should also be currently teaching at level 5 and level 6 in this subject area and have had curriculum design/development experience relating to higher academic level programmes.
