The 'Add Test Student' generated test student can access tools like Turnitin as a standard student account would, so they're great for evaluating things you've set up across related courses. It's still linked to the source account's email but that can be changed to a personal account for testing out anything reliant on emails. I use the preview mode for on the fly checks but test student for deeper checks if that's any help. While I know that we also have student preview, with Turnitin Direct 2.5 you can't use the preview student to submit a test paper. (Everything else I've tried to do as a preview student, I can). Does anyone know if the test student created in this way lets you?
