There are additional spaces available for the forthcoming free one day workshop on data collected from wearable medical devices on the 23 July 2018. With the rapid proliferation of health apps and wearable devices in global healthcare systems and through our own personal devices, HARG has gathered together device manufacturers and service providers, records managers, researchers, policy advisers and archivists to discuss some of the key issues relating to this growing trend. The workshop will include quick-fire talks and discussions on such topics as: the creation and management of data, ethical and legal concerns, storage, digital preservation and re-use of data for research or other purposes. The workshop will also trace the rise of wearable medical devices and attempt to forecast some of the likely future developments.

The workshop will take place within King's College London within the Great Hall, Strand Campus, Strand, London, WC2R 2LS and run from 10am-4pm. Refreshments and lunch will be provided on the day.
