Dear Fellow zooarchers,
This is mostly for senior colleagues with students:

Our department will very shortly announce PhD positions with an application deadline of September 1.

This is a fully funded position, with PhD candidates considered as employees.
Accordingly, there will be a hiring process, and application info will be made available soon.

If you know of a recent MA/MSc graduate who knows fish bone/animal bone analysis, I am happy to develop a project on Icelandic archaeofauna with them.
I will not be teaching the basics of zooarchaeology to this person. Rather, I will need a competent colleague to help with the zooarch teaching and furthering the zooarch/environmental science here at UiB.

Kindly have promising candidates contact me at my departmental e-mail address. I do not check this e-mail account often enough to facilitate the process.

With best wishes,
Ramona
