Faculty and PostDoc Positions Open at the
Institute of Psychology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing
The Pain Neuroimaging and Translational Research Centre
(PNTRC) led by Prof. Yazhuo Kong and Prof. Li Hu in the Institute of Psychology
(IP), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) invites applications for a full-time
faculty position at Assistant Professor level. Postdoctoral research fellow
position is available immediately as well. The PNTRC team is devoted to study
brain mechanisms of pain and empathy, also explore effective assessment and
analgesic methods for chronic pain using multi-modal brain imaging techniques.

Job responsibilities:
Assist PI to conduct research related to pain perception and neurological
diseases; responsible for brain imaging data collection and analysis; supervise
graduate students; conduct independent research and apply various grants.
Requirements:
Ph.D. in psychology, neuroscience, computer or electrical engineering etc is
essential; experience in electrophysiology or brain MRI is preferred; good
English writing skills; overseas study or work experience is preferred; good
scientific research training, independent research capabilities, and a strong
sense of responsibility and teamwork.
