Dear all,

For those based in and around Bristol, London and Edinburgh, next week the Institution of Environmental Sciences are hosting a series of screening to show the documentary, A Plastic Ocean followed by a panel debate.

On three consecutive nights – in Bristol (5th June), London (6th June) and Edinburgh (7th June) – we will be debating the science behind the headlines, discussing potential solutions and engaging people in a conversation to rethink plastic.

Panellists include:

  • Professor Edward Kosior - Managing Director at Nextek Ltd
  • Peter Kershaw - Marine Scientist and Chair of GESAMP (Joint Group of Experts on Scientific Aspects of Marine Environmental Protection)
  • Susan Jay - Programme Area Manager at WRAP
  • Professor Colin Moffat - Chief Scientific Advisor Marine for the Scottish Government
