Alexander Soares is developing a reputation as an artist of formidable technique, virtuosity and "huge intensity" (The Telegraph). His 2015 performance in the BBCSO / BBC Radio 3 'Boulez at 90' celebrations received widespread critical acclaim and was described as a "brilliantly unbuttoned account" by The Sunday Times. He has performed contemporary French repertoire in his debut recitals at the Royal Festival Hall, the Purcell Room, and the Bridgewater Hall, and his first album currently in production features solo works by Boulez, Dutilleux and Messiaen.
