Dear all,

Apologies for cross-posting.

I am involved in organising an online event focused on the theme of the gothic novel. It runs throughout the whole of July.

https://itch.io/jam/gothic-novel-jam

The idea is that participants make something creative, with the gothic novel theme used as a jumping off point - for example, someone could write a folk song with a gothic theme, or create a piece of art based on a gothic fairy tale, or knit a scene from Wuthering Heights. They can really create whatever they like as long as it references the gothic novel. I know a number of participants who have already signed up will be creating games for it, and others are focusing on creative writing.

Full details can be found at https://itch.io/jam/gothic-novel-jam.

We're busy promoting it as widely as we can at the moment, as it's open for anyone at all around the world to participate in. Please feel free to get involved, and spread the word to your local communities/networks.

Thank you.

Regards,

Gary Green
