From what I understand, if they change one part of the consultation – add a new field, remove a field or change what the consultation is for then this will trigger a new HEFER.

Glad to hear it’s not just me.

I don’t think I’ve had a day in the last few weeks when we have under 20 arrive – including Saturdays. A couple of days it was around 40. So I’ve got over 100 outstanding now. That includes some huge estate of over 1000ha.

What I don’t understand is if a HEFER is meant to last for three years then why are we seeing the consultations? I’ve completed over 400 so far this year and the majority of them are previous applicants from the past two years.

I can’t wait to take a day and do something else!

Liam

Thanks Ruth

Just a warning to anyone who sorts by date within the portal – I have had consultations which say received on 11th June landing in the portal on 14th June. With the number coming through it makes them very very easy to miss as they are hidden amongst ones I’ve already logged.

Best wishes

Abi

This is an EXTERNAL EMAIL. STOP. THINK before you CLICK links or OPEN attachments.

The window closed on 31st May, this is the same backlog we experienced last year after the window closed and reflects the universal human tactic of applying for things at the last minute.

Apparently there are loads of consultations to load (exact figures unknown) but the majority should be this week.
