Hi Jen I had a chat with Rachel and we rounded the 25% extra time up to 132 mins so that it's 66 mins for each section. Then an additional 13 mins for Reading gives 79 mins for those students with 50% time in lieu of a Reader, 145 mins total. Hope this helps (and hope I'm correct!). Hi Mel, How have you allocated the minutes between each section - could you provide a breakdown as I seem to be confusing myself on 50 % learners? Please can I throw myself at your mercy help? Hi All, We're getting ourselves in a pickle with the timings for the GCSE English, 1 hour 45 min exam, and the scenarios below, mainly as the students will also get extra time for not having a reader in the reading section, so please can you help?! We thought we had it sorted but we're now not confident. We've rang the exam board, AQA, and they weren't very helpful.
