Nina, A nightmare! We try to avoid using teachers for the following reasons: * Often let me down - suddenly remember they are away on a course! * Don't turn up on time * Leave early and without waiting for someone to take over from them; yes I know they have a class to teach but I have ratios to maintain * They always think they know best even if it is not what the rules say. I do get on well with most of our teaching staff they are just hopeless at invigilating. We as exam staff feel that this will be a nightmare . Do you use teaching staff at your college, if so how has it worked out, do they turn up in good time, past experience has been very last minute etc. If you have a 3 hour exam , do they tend to swap over due to their teaching timetables. How do you manage to organise teaching staff as invigilators if you hold exams off site and external venue's, 30 miles away?
