as of July 16, supposedly due to lack of funding (look here: https://www.guideline.gov/home/announcements)

The Clearinghouse was an significant database containing myriad guidelines.  Since 2017 guidelines were were vetted for trustworthiness in terms of their adherence to the US Institute of Medicine standards (look here:   https://www.guideline.gov/help-and-about/summaries/determining-extent-adherence-to-the-iom-standards-in-ngc)

Thus we will be losing an important resource for research, education, and evidence-based practice.

I could find no explanation for the shutdown other than lack of funding.  I could find no media or health care/ medical literature coverage of the shutdown.
