Subject: Conference-call for papers

** Apologies for any cross-posting**

Dear all,

We would like to ask if you could circulate this call for papers in your networks. This would help us to promote our two-day conference entitled ‘Travelling in twentieth and twenty-first century Latin America’, to be held at the University of Bristol, 4th-5th October 2018.

The conference welcomes contributions from those working on fictional and non-fictional texts, focusing on the following themes:

  *   Women and travelling
  *   Travelling and identity
  *   Rural and urban questions
  *   Global and local phenomena
  *   Travelling and materiality
  * Travelling and cultural contact and exchange

For further information, including confirmed keynote speakers, please see the attached Call for Papers. Deadline for all submissions is Wednesday 11 July 2018.

Thank you very much.

Best wishes,

Dr. Bárbara Castillo and Isidora Urrutia
Hispanic, Portuguese and Latin American Studies Department
