We would like to highlight a great funding opportunity for standards specialists. With a total funding of €1.4 million, the StandICT.eu Open Calls offer a unique opportunity to EU standards specialists to apply for grants to support various types of contributions to ICT international and national standardisation activities. The initiative aims to ensure that the EU plays a key role in making ICT services and technologies interoperable, secure and benchmarked.

Mini-grants of up to EUR 8000 are offered to support activities such as participation to workshops or events (e.g., participant, observer, presentation) or longer term commitments such as contribution to standards documentation (e.g. liaison to WG, comments on standards drafts, membership fees).
