Events Planner and Venue Sales

 

We have a fantastic opportunity for someone with events and sales experience who is looking for a role with some creative input. My client is a prestigious and long-standing professional body for those in the medical profession and the purpose of this role is to sell and plan events at their venue. As well as medical clients, you will also work with a broad variety of corporate clients to coordinate events, upselling and making suggestions throughout. Some clients will ask for your creative input.

 

Working alongside your colleagues, you will use your customer service skills to convert e-mail enquiries into sales, fulfilling the agreed sales targets. You will then plan the events and coordinate them on the day.

 

The ideal candidate will have experience in event coordination, perhaps from another venue or in an internal events role, or an events qualification. You will have sales experience and strong customer service skills. Some degree of flexibility in this role is necessary as this role is shift-based.
