We are recruiting for a really exciting company who are looking for a  Head of Communication. Our client, based in central London, is an innovative scientific publisher.

They are disrupting traditional publishing models in the sector and are now looking for someone innovative who embraces change rather than be afraid of it,  to come in and lead on all communications.

You will be managing two people in this role and will work closely with marketing. Although a background in science is not absolutely necessary a passion for it is essential.

 

You will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

 

·         Track record with running social media campaigns

·         Strong writing and copy writing skills

·         Excellent all round communication skills

·         Strong stakeholder management skills

·         Fantastic relationships with journalists and strong contacts list across science, publishing, technology and business

·         Crisis and reputation management

·         Project management

·         Strategic skills
