Hi Sonal

Depending on what you are interested in, a constructive suggestion might be to check out the PCST network, and related conferences / resources:-

https://pcst.co/

Their conference was recently in Dunedin (and will be in UK in May 2020). PCST have particular interest in the intersection of the ‘academic’ and ‘practitioner’ communities through cross-learning. So a mix of folk from right around the globe - some with PhDs, most without!

Also, the UK National Coordinating Centre of Public Engagement (NCCPE) host a considerable font of knowledge pulled from 10 years of culture change towards engagement across UK universities and research organisations. Well worth a look.

Good luck,

Subject: [PSCI-COM] Reaching out to the PhDs in Science Communication

Hello everyone,

Apologies for cross-posting.

Is there someone here who is (or knows someone who is) pursuing or has already obtained a Ph.D. in a science communication and public engagement topic. If you are, it would be great if I can connect with you. Please do email me or let me know what is the best way to reach you.

I have some ideas and questions swarming in my mind and some advice from a Ph.D. would be really helpful.

Wishing you a beautiful day and a wonderful weekend ahead!

Best Regards,

Sonal Katyal
