Hi Sonal Depending on what you are interested in, a constructive suggestion might be to check out the PCST network, and related conferences / resources:- https://pcst.co/ Their conference was recently in Dunedin (and will be in UK in May 2020). PCST have particular interest in the intersection of the ‘academic’ and ‘practitioner’ communities through cross-learning. So a mix of folk from right around the globe - some with PhDs, most without! Also, the UK National Coordinating Centre of Public Engagement (NCCPE) host a considerable font of knowledge pulled from 10 years of culture change towards engagement across UK universities and research organisations.
