Dear PILAS members We have a number of exciting events on Latin America coming up at the University of Bristol over the next two months, organised by the project Addressing Culture and Inequality in Latin America (ACILA). Attached is a calendar of our events, which begins next week with a book launch and workshop by Argentine sociologist Elizabeth Jelin. We are also currently finalising a two-day programme of seminars, workshops and film screenings on 25th-26th June, which will bring together scholars and film-makers from across Latin America with specialists of the region at Bristol University.
