INSTITUTE OF MODERN LANGUAGES RESEARCH School of Advanced Study * University of London 25 May 2018, 14:00-17:30 Embodied Encounters and the Senses in Modern Languages Gordon Room, G34, Ground Floor, Senate House, Malet Street, London WC1E 7HU This half-day workshop will explore research across languages as an embodied, sensory process. Scholars working with film, literature and participatory methods will focus particularly on questions of positionality and the role the senses play in the experience of the languages, cultures and objects we research.
