Dear all.

Sorry for cross posting.

Please find attached details of a Summer School at King’s College London, which may be of interest to PhD students and Early Career Researchers doing health research.

The summer school, “Doing Social Science Research in Healthcare Settings”, will take place on 19th and 20th July 2018 and includes teaching and discussion on the following subjects:
· What do funders want from social science research in health?
· Ethics and governance processes
· Using theory in applied health research
· Reflexivity
· Communicating social science health research to different audiences.
The summer school costs £100 to attend but a limited number of full bursaries are available to cover this cost. Students wishing to take part can find further details, including the application form, here: https://www.ncrm.ac.uk/training/show.php?article=8421<https://emea01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ncrm.ac.uk%2Ftraining%2Fshow.php%3Farticle%3D8421&data=01%7C01%7C%7Cb3cb121e6826425d422408d5b5cdfff8%7C8370cf1416f34c16b83c724071654356%7C0&sdata=gTYdTJeWdzjJ21mvKIdvHBfA53j%2BDY5oJrRhhR2NE%2Fs%3D&reserved=0>

Forms should be returned to me ([log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>) by 6 July 2018. Places are limited to 15 students.

Best wishes
