The Nordic research project Collecting Social Photo invites applications for experienced consultancy concerning:
* The development of a native app/or web interface, a scalable prototype/beta for collecting and disseminating vernacular photography, from mobile phones and social media.
This tool is being developed for museums and archives wanting to collect social digital photography.
The native app/web interface should integrate an external function for image recognition and semi automatic addition of metadata. The actual development of this image recognition tool will be performed externally and is not included in this consultancy.
UI/UX will be developed by the consultant and in collaboration with an external interaction designer (professor+students at Swedish university).
The prototype/beta will be developed August–October 2018 with QA-testing also in November and December.
The fee for this consultancy will be approximately £ 35 000 + VAT.
Final brief for the consultancy will be released to developers June 5. Enquiries are welcome before this date. A bid for the contract will be expected by June 18. Contract will be signed by the end of June.
