We are seeking specialist teaching input for our modules on our small but well-established MSc, starting in September 2018.

Applicants should have experience of working in a special library or information/knowledge service – in a government,  corporate, or other information management setting

Specialist topic areas might include:

  *   Business intelligence
  *   Performance management / return on investment
  *   Data management
  *   User experience
Additional

  *   Teaching / training experience desirable
  *   CILIP or other professional body, membership and engagement.
  *   Flexibility and willingness to learn and teach on new topics

Teaching will mostly be in Term 1 (Sept-Dec) on a Tuesday (2-7pm) with possible further opportunities in Term 2. For term dates, please see the academic timetable at http://www1.uwe.ac.uk/about/termdates/2018-19termdates.aspx

As an Associate Lecturer, you would be paid £42-50 per hour for contact time (the only time you would need to be on campus). Other duties (e.g. planning meetings) are paid at a 50% rate.
