‘Succeeding Through Change’ for Operational Managers

Change has become the norm for most librarians; whether driven by a new role, a new build, restructuring, cost-savings or the changing vision of a new departmental head it can be both exhilarating and exhausting.  It is important in these times of change to know how to develop your own resilience and that of those you support.

 

This training day for operational managers will begin with a morning workshop delivered by Mary Foster to help develop resilience for you and your team.

 

During the afternoon colleagues from across the sector will share their experience of different types of change.  We will end the day with a speed-support session when you spend two minutes with every other delegate to share one practical tip to make change a positive experience. Attendees will have a chance to network and share best practice with peers and professionals.
