Durham University International Study Centre is seeking three External Examiners for a programme re-approval event to take place on 28 June. Externals are sought to consider the following programmes: 1. International Foundation Year – Business, Economics, Accounting and Finance 2. International Foundation Year – Humanities, Law and Social Science 3. International Foundation Year – Science and Engineering 4. Pre-Masters Programme – Business, Economics, Accounting and Finance 5. Pre-Masters Programme - Science and Engineering It is intended that one suitably qualified and experienced external will be appointed for the business programmes, one for the humanities law and social science programme and a further external examiner for the science and engineering programmes. Candidates should have experience of delivering units/modules at undergraduate level (1st year) on subjects relating to Business, Economics, Accounting and Finance, or Engineering and Science, or Humanities, Law and Social Science. Please note the Durham University International Study Centre is a partnership between Durham University and Study Group, and we recruit purely international students who have English as a second language, so examiners with experience of the needs of international students would be preferred. The centre is located at Queen’s Campus, Stockton on Tees. A fee of £500 plus expenses will be forthcoming for each examiner.
