Hello JISC, The University of Derby Online Learning requires an External Examiner to commence September 2018 for the following online programme: • BSc (Hons) Nursing studies (Top Up) https://www.derby.ac.uk/online/course/nursing-studies-bsc-hons-top-up-degree-online-course This programme consists of a number of 20 credit optional modules at level 6 as well as a 40 credit Independent Studies Module. The programme runs on a trimester basis with the need for external examination of all three trimesters within the academic year. The role will require the usual external examiner duties including the moderation of all assessments within the modules that have run within that trimester, attending assessment boards (three per year although it is not mandatory to attend all three) and the writing of external examiner reports. You will also be required to review and comment upon any module or programme modifications.
