The Department of Psychology
at Manchester Metropolitan University is seeking to appoint External Examiners to the following posts:
1.
Psychological Wellbeing in Clinical Practice
The External for the Psychological Wellbeing in Clinical Practice
programme would be required to moderate Professional Doctorate in Psychological Therapies, MSc Psychological Wellbeing in Clinical Practice, and MSc Clinical Skills in Integrative Psychotherapy. A candidate with a clinical/counselling professional
background is preferred, registered with the BPS, BACP or HCPC.
2.
MSc Psychology (Conversion Award)
The External for MSc Psychology (Conversion) is required to have a specialism in qualitative/social/developmental psychology.
The appointments start in September 2018 and would normally be for the 4 academic years 2018-2022, with duties to include external examination of assignments, attendance at exam board and completion of an annual report.
Previous external examining experience is preferred but not essential as you would have contact with the other external examiners in the Subject area
and mentor support.
