I think it depends on what you’re going to talk to them about. If you ring up and start talking about rent arrears or ASB, you’d want to know who you’re talking to, surely?

Subject:  [data-protection] Verifying caller ID

Hello all

When people call us we ask some security questions to ensure we are speaking to the right person, however with outgoing calls we don't do this, we just use the number provided to us by the tenant and confirm we're speaking to the right person.

I think this is sufficient, I wouldn't want staff to start phoning up tenants and asking them for personal details. Does anyone have a different opinion?

Thanks very much

Mel
