==== Call for Demos and Posters (Extended deadline: Friday, May 18, 2018) ==== ECSCW 2018: The 16th European Conference on Computer-Supported Cooperative Work The International venue on Practice-centred computing and the Design of cooperation technologies Nancy, France, June 4-8, 2018 Website: http://ecscw2018.loria.fr/ ========================================== A key part of ECSCW 2018 programme are the live demonstrations and posters. These may be research prototypes or commercial products presented by those involved in developing the systems. The purpose of this session is to provide authors with the opportunity to showcase their research to interested delegates, as well as involving them in discussions about the work, exchanging ideas, providing feedback, and sharing works-in-progress relating to CSCW. The submissions for Demos and Posters must be related to the main topics of interest of ECSCW 2018 (http://ecscw2018.loria.fr/papers/). Submissions should include a short paper (four page maximum including references, figures, and a 150 word max. abstract). The paper should explicitly state the contribution and originality of the work, making it clear how it differs from significant prior work. A full literature review is not required. All submissions for demos should be accompanied by an Exhibition Plan that should describe the technical requirements (e.g. exceptional power (V), dimensions and footprint of exhibit (cm), lighting conditions). Please note that a power strip (220V), a poster board (A1), and an ordinary table will be provided. Additional equipment (including laptops, tablets, speakers, headphones, projectors) must be specified in the proposal. Unless explicitly confirmed by the organisers, the additional equipment must be supplied by the demonstrator. WiFi will be available.
