But the elephant in the room of climate change, scary but less often mentioned, is, it's not just temperature alone but as temperature rises, you get more evaporation and humidity rises too. And humidity is the real killer at high temperatures. A high level of humidity is equivalent to yet another 10 or 15 of heat in terms of human tolerance.

Then we all switch on the aircon, and guess what happens to the overloaded power supply?  Heat + Humidity, and add in the urban heat island effect, a humid climate, and power cuts.
The major cities of southern Asia could become deadly places in summers to come.
