Subject: LCEDN Annual Conference - 30th May-1st June

Colleagues,

The UK Low Carbon Energy for Development Network Annual Conference in Loughborough is rapidly approaching (May 30th - June 1st).

We have a fascinating programme exploring a multitude of different angles surrounding the theme of Transforming Energy Access, we have speakers from South Africa, India, Malawi, Cameroon, Nepal, Kenya, Lesotho and many other countries confirmed

If you haven't already booked your place then please do so using the registration site: https://www.lcedn.com/events/save-date-lcedn-7th-conference-loughborough-uk

We are particularly keen on encouragiong PhD students to attend and present a poster; there will be prizes awarded for the best of these and also an opportunity to do a short pitch in one of the main plenary sessions. Please let us know if you intend to present a poster (this is open to anyone not just PhD students).

The event has no registration fee but if anyone has concerns over travel and accommodation costs, there will be some sponsored places for anyone who is interested in helping support the event - e.g. via helping with registration, running social media updates, assisting with online questions in streamed sessions etc. If anyone is interested please can they contact me. First come. first served on this. If interested please contact me directly.

Thanks

Ed
