Hi all

Just a reminder that 12th May is Nurses Day when around the world people will be celebrating nursing ('twas also Florence Nightingale's birthday). This year's theme #ThisNurse is highlighting the varied roles and skills that individuals hold across nursing, focusing on personal stories.

You can join in and share nursing stories held in your collections. With ~700,000 nurses and midwives in the UK, this is an excellent opportunity to raise awareness of what you hold. It's also an opportunity for those of you with WW1 collections to highlight some of the nursing stories hidden within them.

The following hashtags may be useful: #HistNursing (with #HistMed used all year round); #ThisNurse; #NursesDay<https://twitter.com/hashtag/NursesDay?src=hash> ; #WW1

And if you tag @RCNLibraries we'll be happy to retweet!

Thanks

Teresa
