The post holder will be responsible for a programme of methodological and applied research regarding economic evaluation of maternal vaccination using group B Streptococcus (GBS) vaccines that are currently being developed. The work is part of an international consortium funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and involving researchers at LSHTM, WHO and partners. This programme of work is expected to guide investments into developing candidate vaccines, and subsequent country decision-making about vaccination programmes. It has a high probability of having major impact on maternal and child mortality globally. The post holder will work closely with Professor Joy Lawn and Professor Mark Jit, as part of a multi-disciplinary team of health economists, mathematical modellers and epidemiologists.

Thank you for your help and time to this matter.

With Kind Regards,
