Dear Mailbase

We've been asked to consider removing urea from our A&E U&E profile and dropping LFTs from our A&E request profiles in order to make cost savings.  Apparently this has been done successfully in other Trusts.  I'd be interested to hear from anyone who has made or considered making similar changes - how was it received by the A&E clinical team and did it lead to the expected cost savings?

Many thanks

Vicky
