Dear All,

We are currently evaluating the new Abbott Architect bile acids reagent (lot 03R04) and have found a -25% bias compared with our previous lot using the sentinel method (06K90).  Have any other Abbott users found this level of bias? And if so:

  1. Have you lowered your reference range (kit insert suggests <6)?
  2. Have you updated your Obstetric Cholestasis protocol with new lower action thresholds?

Many thanks,

Angela
