Dear All,
For those interested in a social and participatory approach to induction, sense of belonging and retention, this experiential interactive workshop may be of particular interest. This event has become one of the established forums for reflecting together on induction practice.

"Student-Generated Induction: A Social Identity Approach" is taking place in York on Tuesday May 22nd.

The workshop will introduce a new theory and practice for inclusive learning applied to student induction and transition. You will gain first-hand experience of a structured, interactive and scalable approach to student-induction based on social science research. This measurable approach has already adopted by a variety of universities and colleges across different disciplines.

Student-Generated Induction has strong links to Students-As-Partners, Students-As-Researchers in Education. It has already been recognised as an example of good practice by University of Queensland and the NUS partners: The Student Engagement Partnership. As a result, this workshop has become an established event for sharing innovative practice with the aim of improving student retention, inclusion and widening participation.

For those wishing to be invoiced later a booking form is attached. Otherwise, see full details and how to book online at: http://bit.ly/2vscRUN

Best Wishes,
Nick
