The Division of History of Science, Technology and Environment at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden, is starting up a new, ambitious research project, targeting the history of nuclear energy in global perspective. The project is led by Per Högselius and is funded by the European Research Council (ERC). The research merges history of science and technology with environmental and water history.

We are now looking for two PhD students to participate in this project. The positions cover a period of study amounting to 4 years on a full-time basis. The PhD students will be employed at the Division of History at KTH, which means that they will receive a competitive salary throughout the period of study. As the project is genuinely interdisciplinary in scope, we welcome applicants from engineering and natural sciences as well as from the social sciences and humanities fields. The deadline for application is 10 May.
