Knowledge Base+ (KB+) is a service within the digital resources directorate, its primary purpose being to help universities and colleges deliver better efficiency and value for money through the development of a shared service.

KB+ includes the following types of information on e-resources:

• Publication information: title, package, platform and coverage information for print and electronic journals, books and databases
  
• Subscription and entitlement information
  
• Licence information
  
• It is the intention of KB+ to provide institutions and other participants in the e-resource supply chain with accurate and timely e-resource management information, making it available in machine readable formats that comply with existing standards and best practice.
