Good morning, all,

Has anybody had any success working with a freelance educator to create learning outputs to work with children who are blind or visually impaired? I'm looking to develop an outreach session based on some work we've done around VAD hospitals in Worcestershire during the First World War, and a fantastic autograph book in the collection with beautiful poems and thank-yous written by patients to the staff as they recovered.

Any advice re people who were helpful would be great, as I have ideas for activities but could do with some expertise. I'll be looking to apply to HLF's First World War: Then and Now for the funds to run the project, in the hope to have some display material in the museum alongside an outreach activity/schools pack to work first with our local college for children and young people who are blind and visually-impaired, and then hopefully also further afield.

All best wishes,

Louise
