The National Trust, in partnership with the University of Leicester, will be hosting a 2 day international LGBTQ+ heritage conference on 15th and 16th of May. The event is part of the Trust’s Prejudice and Pride programme
and includes a mix of debates, live artist performances, talks and visits to Hanbury Hall and Wightwick Manor.
The conference will explore how heritage organisations can meaningfully engage diverse audiences in debates surrounding LGBTQ history, culture and equality by researching and presenting past LGBTQ lives.
