I went to an event a couple of weeks ago about the City and Guilds portal, and the information about results and re-sits are as follows:

 

Exams sat between 26/02/18 to 02/03/18                 Results issue date:  23/04/18         Re-sit deadline:  27/04/18

Exams sat between 06/03/18 to 23/03/18                 Results issue date:  14/05/18         Re-sit deadline: 25/05/18

 

They also said that results would be send via email in the form of a spreadsheet.  This is the first year that we have done these qualifications – so I am not sure what to expect!!!

According to the C&G Technical Spring Newsletter, any theory exams sat after 2^nd March 2018, will have their results issued on Walled Garden on Monday 14^th May 2018. 

 

The deadline for bookings any summer (June) exams is Friday 25^th May 2018, so centres will have 10 working days to book any learners who need to re-sit,

It’s rubbish!  Our first year this year so we naively thought they’d be sat waiting for us this morning….complaint going in!

 

 

 

It was the same last year – results just drip-fed through during the course of the results day…

That is the answer I just received too, that is absolutely shocking, we’ve lost a day in the 5 day window to get resits booked in.  Really not very happy at all, or am I over reacting!?!?!? gggrrr

Please note that mobile phones and smartwatches are not permitted into Examination Rooms, please remind your students that they must hand their mobile phone/smartwatch into the Examinations Team for safe keeping before their examination.  Anyone found to have a mobile phone/smartwatch in an examination will be jeopardising their examination.
