Dear colleagues,

You may find this event of interest – following on from our successful CAN 2018 conference,  the t hems of this event look very relevant,

Kind regards,

Sarah

About this event -  registration details from www.qaa.ac.uk

This one-day conference will bring together staff and students from universities, colleges and students' unions across the UK.

Join QAA and The Student Engagement Partnership (TSEP), along with the University of Bath, University College Birmingham, Leeds University Union, Wise Wales, sparqs and others, for a day of debate, discussion and workshops focusing on strengthening partnership.

With the development of the regulatory frameworks across the UK in full swing, it seems that students have been placed even more at the heart of regulation in higher education.

This event will explore the evolution of student engagement in this diverse UK landscape through good practice case studies, practical workshops and information sharing. The day will feature keynote speeches from Nicola Dandridge, Chief Executive, Office for Students, and Amatey Doku, Vice-President Higher Education, NUS, as well as a panel discussion with representatives from TSEP, Wise Wales, sparqs and Northern Ireland, who will be discussing the impact of the diverse regulatory system on each of the nations.

We would be really grateful if you could promote this for us and as ever happy to reciprocate.

Best wishes

Ruth
