Hi Mel
There is some useful information on the Guide Dogs website :
https://www.guidedogs.org.uk/faqs/guide-dogs/out-and-about-with-a-guide-dog/
It also says they are happy to offer individual advice if needed, so it might be worth contacting them.

Subject: Guide dog facilities

We have a visually-impaired student who has been with us for two years and managed spectacularly well. They are returning for their final year in September, with the addition of a guide dog.

Does anyone on here know (a) how a guide dog should be catered for in a PEEP; (b) whether a spending area must always be provided for assistance dogs and if so who is responsible for cleaning (i.e. institution or Council)?

Any information / guidance very gratefully received!
