This exciting opportunity is available through the new BME LGBTQ+ Haringey History project. This has been developed by the local community and will explore BME LGBTQ History from 1980 onwards. The project will be run through London Metropolitan Archives (LMA) and Haringey Archives and Museums Service.

The Community Engagement Officer will work with the project management team to record and transcribe oral histories, engage with BME LGBTQ groups through the delivery of outreach events and the annual LGBTQ History Conference at LMA, recruit and work with volunteers, contribute to training activities and write content for exhibition materials and digital resources. It is essential that applicants have a proven and demonstrable understanding and knowledge of BME LGBTQ groups, individuals and history.
