The University of Central Lancashire is seeking a Director and a Deputy Director for the Lancashire Clinical Trials Unit. These posts are at Reader or Professorial level.

The posts are to undertake internationally recognised research focused on medical statistics and/or clinical trials and to provide academic leadership for the Faculty of Health & Wellbeing’s Clinical Trials Unit. These are indefinite posts (following satisfactory probation) and the closing date is 6th May 2018.

 

The post are based in Preston, which is a pleasant multi-cultural city in the north of England, and has easy access to the Lake District (now a UNESCO world heritage site), the Forest of Bowland, an undiscovered area of outstanding natural beauty and the charming Ribble valley. Houses in and around Preston are very modestly priced and the city has a thriving arts scene.
