Dear Federico,

Thank you for this very attractive invitation and I take the liberty of offering a suggestion. Because of my interest and many years of work on some of the models, your support would add more to what is already published. It might be appropriate to open your invitation to the field of comparative immunology, especially influence of global warming. I have published with a team in your university.

In addition, please watch closely the publication of my revised book: Advances in Comparative Immunology, to be published by Springer in June this summer. It is scheduled to coincide with the ISDCI Congress to be convened in Santa fe. Much has developed in the field since my fist book.

Best wishes and good luck

Edwin

Subject: Postdoctoral opportunity in São Paulo

Dear colleagues,

We have a postdoctoral position available to study animal origins here in São Paulo with a multidisciplinary team of researchers. The postdoctoral candidate should have experience in physiology, cell biology, and/or developmental biology, and some of the model animals contemplated in the project include: sponges, cnidarians, acoels, platyhelminthes, nematodes, and tunicates.

Please distribute to anyone interested in this position.

Best regards,

Federico
